Apart from developing vaccines,strategizing vaccine production and marketing is also a big hurdle. Once all production facilities and delivery mediums are channelized, it will ensure smoother and faster delivery and help administrate the vaccine in a better way.
US government’s Operation WarpSpeed is working on funding production of vaccines at an industrial pace, which will ensure that the world would have a ready stockpile for distribution, once the vaccine is found to be safe in Phase III trials. If countries comply with WHO’s newly issued guidelines, vaccine delivery will be done in an equitable manner and reach those at-risk. It wouldn’t have to be a rushed job.
