The Rajasthan government on Sunday night issued a list of transfer postings of 144 RAS officials of the state.

To deal with the Covid-19 situation in the state, the Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government has given postings to 89 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers of the 2019 batch who are yet to complete two months of their training.

The Rajasthan government on Sunday night issued a list of transfer postings of 144 RAS officials of the state.

This list includes 89 officers from the 2019 batch who were still left with two months of training but because of the crisis that has arisen of the coronavirus pandemic, they have been given postings in various districts of Rajasthan. One officer from the 2017 batch, who has not completed training yet, has also been given a posting.

“In this list of transfer postings of 144 RAS officers issued by state government there are 89 officers of 2019 batch whose two months of training period is remaining,” Mahendra Soni, Commissioner, Department of Information and Public relations (DIPR), Rajasthan government, said in a statement.

“The state government in view of the coronavirus crisis has taken the decision to give postings in districts before the completion of training. There is an officer of 2017 batch amongst them whose training has not yet completed that (person) has also been given posting in the district,” he added.
