Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal hit the screens on February 28 and went on to garner positive feedback from both audience and critics. However, the film’s theatrical run was cut short due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

According to the latest reports, the makers of the film have re-released it in Dubai today (May 28) and online reservations began yesterday. The UAE government lifted the lockdown and re-opened the theatres with restrictions in place.

Fans of Dulquer Salmaan got excited and have been wishing the team since morning to have a successful theatrical run for the second time.

The Dubai government has also imposed a lot of restrictions and has advised people to follow necessary safety measures.

Tamil Nadu Theatre and Multiplex Owners Associations have been requesting the TN government to re-open theaters soon. However, we hear that the authorities will decide on it only after the lockdown is lifted.

Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is a romantic heist comedy, featuring Ritu Varma, Rakshan, Gautham Menon and Niranjani in important roles. The film is about two con artists who fall in love with orphan girls and decide to settle down with them. Trouble begins when they discover the identity of the women in their lives.
