A video is doing the rounds on social media platforms with a claim that a helicopter and a truck collided in Ratan Singh Chowk area of Amritsar.
The video shows a lorry driving into the turning rotors of a helicopter standing on a road, smashing the blades, sending debris from both the vehicles flying and spilling on to the road.

The video is an old one from Brazil.
VERIFICATION AND METHODOLOGY
Using keywords ‘Helicopter Truck clash’, we found a news report dated January 21, 2020 from Mail Online.
Titled ‘Police helicopter chops off lorry roof when driver smashes into the rotor blades as aircraft prepares for take-off from a Brazilian city street’, the report states that a helicopter on patrol was on a road in Brazilian city of Rio Branco when a passing lorry, used by the state to transport hospital waste, collided with its blades.
The report carried the same video as the one shared above.
Reportedly, two of five chopper occupants got slightly injured, while three people in the truck escaped unhurt.
