The inter-state travel ban exempts ambulances, doctors, goods carriers, media, those directly involved in Covid-19 services and those with passes issued by the administration.
District magistrate Gautam Buddha Nagar also issued guidelines to be followed in the containment zones and rest of the area.

Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh government in the latest set of guidelines, issued for unlocking cities in a phased manner, stated that Noida-Delhi/Ghaziabad-Delhi borders would remain sealed for now.
Earlier this week, citing a rise in the number of Covid-19 cases with links to Delhi, the Ghaziabad administration had sealed its borders with the capital on Monday, the same day that airspace opened up for domestic flights.
