Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI to quiz two DCPS of the Mumbai Police, likely to examine any lapses from the officials in the case – Times of India

Yesterday marked an important day in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput as the Supreme Court announced the transfer of the probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Now, as today the S.I.T. (Special Investigation Team) of the agency will be reaching Mumbai, the latest update from Times Now suggests that the team will also be questioning the two Deputy Commissioners of Mumbai Police, namely Abhishek Trimukhe and Paramjit Singh Dahiya in connection with the initial investigation of the actor’s death.

Reportedly, the SIT is likely to closely examine any lapses from Mumbai officials in this case. The team might also visit Sushant Singh Rajput’s apartment in Bandra where the actor was found dead on June 14.

Earlier, The DCP, Dahiya in a statement revealed that he ‘insisted’ for a written complaint from IPS Officer OP Singh when he received his WhatsApp messages highlighting that Sushant Singh Rajput’s life was in danger.

He added to Times Now, “The messages were sent on 19th and 25th of February. It was clearly told in a telephone (call) to him that ‘I need a written complaint to proceed forward on these messages. The other side of the argument was that the girl and the associates should be unofficially called to the police station and the matter should be resolved.”
