World Blood Donor Day: Chiranjeevi shares video to encourage fans to donate blood


On World Blood Donor Day (June 14), Megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media to encourage people to donate blood. He also made a video with multiple photos of him donating blood.

Megastar Chiranjeevi made his social media debut early this year and has been quite active by sharing photos and videos of his life. Today (June 14), the actor took to Twitter to share a video, which consists of multiple photos of him donating his blood at different occasions.

June 14 marks World Blood Donor Day every year. On this special day, Chiranjeevi revealed that donating blood has always been satisfying and also encouraged everyone to help others in need.

The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy actor wrote, “What else can be more satisfying than saving someone’s life…Everytime I hear that a blood donation camp is organized and people are donating blood, I thank almighty for the super power he gave us mankind (sic).”

The 20-second-long video has photos of the actor donating blood at several events. Looking at the video, it is clear that the actor has been consistent in donating blood.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is the first Telugu actor to understand the severity of the novel coronavirus and halted the shooting of his upcoming film, Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars his actor-son Ram Charan in an important role.

The shooting of Acharya will resume soon. While the Telangana government has given permission for the film shoots to resume, the Andhra Pradesh government said that the shooting can commence from July 15 onwards.
