Formed just three months ago, the CJP has shaken up the lives of Modi and Shah. The opposition did not trouble their government as much in twelve years as this youth movement has.

Gen Z and Gen Alpha, in particular, have put the central government and PM Modi in the dock across the country. The whole nation knows how Modi and Shah—who ruled unchallenged for twelve years—used their IT cell to tarnish the reputations of opposition leaders. However, in the last three months, the youth have given their social media team a run for their money. Messing with the youth has proven very costly for the Modi government; PM Modi has had to personally bear the brunt of this. During the CJP’s protest at Jantar Mantar, young men and women—through memes, reels, and posters—effectively cut PM Modi down to size. The PM, who used to address the nation as "Mitron" (Friends), shifted to "Hello Friends" on Instagram, but failed to work his magic there, realizing his influence wouldn't hold sway with the youth. This is why he has overhauled the IT cell to salvage his image. These changes have likely been made with an eye on the upcoming 2027 elections, with the UP Assembly polls appearing to be the biggest challenge for the BJP.
