Resonance of the 'Fix the Schools' Mission in Rajasthan

Repeated Attacks by Ruling Party Supporters on CJP Activists

CJP activists in Rajasthan are working with great zeal on the 'Fix the Schools' campaign. Amidst this, on August 21, a group of so-called villagers launched a life-threatening attack on Ashutosh Ranka and his team in Kanwar pura, Jaipur. Two days later, ABVP activists disrupted a CJP event in Jodhpur, manhandling, verbally abusing, and assaulting a CJP activist. It has become evident that the Rajasthan government does not want the public to know about the deplorable, chaotic, and unsafe condition of its schools. To this end, they are using their party cadres and the ABVP to physically assault CJP activists while simultaneously running a smear campaign against them. The state police, too, are acting in alignment with the government's agenda regarding these incidents; there are allegations of deliberate police laxity intended to break the morale of CJP activists. Ashutosh Ranka states that, through these very actions, the state government is inadvertently publicizing their mission. Government schools have now become a topic of discussion across the state, with locals sharing videos of dilapidated schools on social media. The government has effectively made CJP's task easier.

Nationwide Improve Govt. Schools mission by 1st September

Concerns regarding the state and disrepair of government schools are now mounting nationwide. The CJP has announced the launch of a nationwide 'Fix the Schools' campaign starting September 1. The initiative has already commenced in states like West Bengal and Rajasthan. CJP leader Ashutosh Ranka has alleged that BJP activists have assaulted and pelted stones at CJP workers in both Jaipur and West Bengal. In Bankura, West Bengal, activists from the ruling party launched a life-threatening attack on the home of a CJP worker following an inspection of a government school. Ashutosh visited the activist's home to offer condolences and assured the family that the CJP would take full responsibility for their safety. On August 21, when Ashutosh and his team of activists arrived to inspect government schools in Jaipur, they were subjected to a premeditated attack.

No essential needs in govt. schoolss

It was propagated that the attack had been carried out by villagers. Ranka alleged that preparations for the assault had been made in the village well in advance; Ashutosh had even informed the local police about this beforehand. However, the local Station House Officer (SHO) washed his hands of the matter, stating that he was on duty for the Legislative Assembly and could not intervene. He dismissed it as a personal issue that they should handle themselves. It was also stated that Ranka was the intended target of these goons. Prior to this incident, CJP coordinator Abhijit Deepke had also been attacked in Jaipur.
