NEW DELHI: The image of upcoming Kia Sonet has hit the social media again, ahead of its debut on August 7.
Sonet SUV’s front end design is clearly visible in the picture, which was clicked during the shoot of an advertisement commercial.
Little is known so far about the design and features. Especially, Kia Motors maintained a tight-lip since the prototype showcased at the Auto Expo in 2020.
The sub-four-metre SUV will compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.

The revealed image sports the possible GT-line trim in red shade. The classic Kia tiger-nose grille upfront, silver skid plate and black housing around the fog lamps are visible. Dual-tone alloy wheels with red touches and outside rearview mirrors can be distinguished.
Sharing the engine options with Hyundai Venue, much like Creta and Seltos, the Kia Sonet is likely to have a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1-litre turbo-petrol with both manual and automatic gearboxes. Venue and Sonet will also share Hyundai iMT technology.
Expected to go on sale in September, Kia Sonet SUV is likely to be priced between Rs 8 lakh – 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
