A total of 109 new coronavirus cases were reported from various parts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,573.
Out of 3,573 total coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh, 1184 are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat event, which took place in Delhi, and people who came in contact with the attendees.

Eighty coronavirus-related deaths have taken place in the state so far (two in Jhansi, two in Ghaziabad, two in Noida, one each in Lalitpur, Prayagraj, Etah, Mainpuri, Bijnore, Kanpur Dehat, Amroha, Bareilly Basti, Bulandshahar, Lucknow, 13 in Meerut, seven in Moradabad, four in Firozabad, one in Varanasi, 24 in Agra, six in Kanpur Nagar, three in Aligarh, four in Mathura and one in Shravasti).
In the state, a maximum of 770 positive cases of Covid-19 has been reported in Agra, followed by 302 in Kanpur Nagar, 248 in Lucknow, 230 in Noida, and 204 in Saharanpur district, according to the information given by the health department of the state government.
There are 1,735 active cases of coronavirus in the state. The total number of discharged patients has surpassed the number of active cases for the first time.
