What a session it has been. Having finished Day 1 on top, England started poorly on Day 2 as they were put in trouble. From 258/4 to 280/8, the hosts found themselves in a precarious situation. Ollie Pope could not add a run to his overnight score while Jos Buttler also failed to get going. West Indies pacers Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel wrecked havoc early in the day to leave England in tatters. But Stuart Broad came to his team’s rescue with a quick-fire fifty that helped England post respectable 369 in the first innings. Broad hit the joint-third fastest Test half century for England off just 33 balls.

Over 103.1: Short and bounce by Holder and Bess get beaten by the bounce as the ball goes past off outside edge. England 337/8

Over 99.3: There’s no stopping Broad at the moment, he moves to 38 in no time. Holder pitches it up in the slot and Broad lofts him over mid-off for four. England 326/8
Over 99.2: Broad is after Holder, another short by Windies skipper and Broad top-edges over the keeper for four. England 322/8
Over 98.6: Broad picks up 3 runs, plays to long on and Chase makes a long chase from mid on and manages to save a run after some sloppy effort. England 318/8

Over 97.3: Broad picks up another four. Well outside off by Holder and Broad cuts it uppishly over the cordon. England 310/8

Over 91.4: Gabriel strikes again to put West Indies on top. Buttler falls for 67. Good length delivery by Gabriel, Buttler was forced to play it, ball takes an outside edge and Holder gets low to his left and grabs it safely. England 272/7
Over 90.6: OUT! Roach takes his 200th Test wicket. Back of a length delivery and Woakes plays on to his bottom of the off stumps. England 267/6

Over 89.1: OUT! Gabriel strikes to clean up Pope on his overnight score of 91. Pope fails to capitalise on the chance he gets. It was a pacy delivery by Gabriel, Pope gets beaten while trying to flick it away and the ball hits the pad and deflects onto the stumps. England 262/5
Over 87.6: Dropped! Pope gets a life early in the day, Cornwall drops a simple chance at first slip. Gabriel is clearly not happy with Cornwall’s effort . England 260/4
