Here is when Apple iPhone 12 series may launch – Mobiles News | Gadgets Now

Apple may unveil the new iPhone 12 series phones at a special event on October 13, as per a report by AppleInsider. The report adds that the preorders for the new iPhones could begin from October 16. The report cites information received from a tip “sent by someone self-identified as working for a carrier in the Netherlands.” All the new iPhones are expected to have 5G capability.

An earlier report by MyDrivers hinted at the possible prices of the iPhone 12 models and as per the claim, the starting price of the
iPhone 12 models will be cheaper than the starting price of iPhone 11 series. As per the report, the iPhone 12 is expected to be launched at $649, which is less than what iPhone 11 was launched at — $699. The prices of the four iPhone variants are expected to be $699, $749, $999 and $1,099 respectively.

Apple held its ‘Time Flies’ online-only event on September 15 where it launched new Apple Watch and iPad models. The new
Apple Watch 6 comes with blood oxygen or SpO2 monitor along with ECG, heart rate and other sensors. It also launched the new eighth-generation iPad, featuring the A12 Bionic chip that brings the Neural Engine to the entry iPad for the first time. It features a 10.2-inch Retina display and the new iPadOS 14.

Apple also introduced the new iPad Air with a new all-screen design featuring 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, new 12MP rear camera, Touch ID sensor, and more. It is also powered by A14 Bionic chipset along with iPad OS 14.
