According to sources, actresses Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna have been roped in to play the lead characters in Naagin 5.

Ekta Kapoor recently announced that Naagin 4 will come to an end soon and will immediately be replaced by Naagin 5. The producer didn’t disclose the cast but said that they have worked really hard on the new script. According to the latest buzz, Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna of Ishqbaaz fame have been confirmed to play the new naagins in the upcoming season.
A source close to the show revealed, “Ekta Kapoor has finalised Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna for Naagin Season 5. Ekta’s team was looking for popular faces and they got it in these two actresses, who have quite a good following on social media and enjoy a huge fan following among the Indian audiences.”
Hina Khan has earlier worked with Ekta Kapoor in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Komolika. However, this will be Surbhi Chandna’s first project with Balaji Telefilms.
Naagin is a popular supernatural series. Earlier, popular TV stars like Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, Nia Sharma and Jasmin Bhasin have played the role of shape-shifting snakes in the show.
