BJP MLA Appachu Ranjan said, What’s the truth and what’s false? It’s better to start an enquiry. We can give it to judicial enquiry with full confidence. Let them carry out a judicial enquiry. If anyone has misused the money at such times, we’ll punish them”.

Even though the BJP government has rubbished the allegations, its MLA said: “let the probe go on”.

On Thursday, Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah alleged large-scale corruption in Covid management in Karnataka to the tune of at least Rs 2,000 crore and demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting High Court judge.
