Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput took to Instagram to wish father-in-law Pankaj Kapoor on his 66th birthday.
She shared her picture with Pankaj, his wife Supriya Pathak and Shahid Kapoor. Mira captioned the gram as, “Happy Birthday Dad. Nobody is as cool and as warm as you are. In a family of Alphonsos we’re the Safedas! To the bestest ‘Baba’, We love you. (sic).”
In the post, Mira compared her family to Alphonsos, the most expensive variety of mangoes, also called as the king of mangoes. And herself and Pankaj as Safedas, type of mangoes that tastes slightly sour.

Pankaj Kapoor married Neelima Azeem in 1975. They welcomed Shahid in 1981. However, their marriage didn’t last and they decided to part ways in 1984. Pankaj then tied the knot with actress Supriya Pathak in 1988.
Coming to Shahid, the production work of the actor’s upcoming film Jersey, which is a Hindi remake of a Telugu film, was put on hold due to the spread of the novel coronavirus. Pankaj Kapoor will play the role of Shahid’s mentor in the film.
