Prithviraj Sukumaran and the 58-member crew of Aadujeevitham were stuck at Wadi Rum desert in Jordan for nearly two months. The team returned to Kerala on May 22 in a repatriation flight as part of India’s Vande Bharat Mission, which helps bring back stranded citizens from across the country.

After completing two weeks of compulsory quarantine, Prithviraj finally met his wife Supriya Menon and their five-year-old daughter Alankrita. The Lucifer director took to Instagram to share a photo of his family and wrote, “Reunited (sic),” followed by a heart emoji.

In the photo, Prithviraj and Supriya can be seen posing for the camera while little Alankrita is hugging her parents.

The family photo received over 4 lakh likes on Instagram. Apart from Prithviraj’s fans, fellow actors like Dulquer Salmaan, Tovino Thomas and Saniya Iyappan commented on his post and shared their joy.

Dulquer Salmaan wrote, “Awww! Lots of love you guys (sic),” followed by hug emoticons.

Tovino Thomas and Saniya Iyappan took to Instagram and expressed their happiness by posting heart emoticons.

Before completing his two-week quarantine period, Prithviraj took Covid-19 test and was tested negative. He also took to Instagram to share the news with his fans.

A couple of days ago, it was reported that a 58-year-old crew member of Aadujeevitham was tested positive for coronavirus. He accompanied the team to Jordan as a translator and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Kerala.

Aadujeevitham, directed by Blessy, is a survival drama based on the novel of the same name, written by Benyamin. The film, which has music composed by AR Rahman, has Amala Paul, Aparna Balamurali and Vineeth Sreenivasan in important roles.
