Police arrested a wanted terrorist, Teerath Singh, from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut on Saturday.
A joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and the Punjab police was launched to nab the terrorist.
Sources said that Teerath Singh has links with Khalistan.
Sources also said that posters of Khalistani separatist leaders Bhindranwale were recovered from Singh’s possession.
Singh was even active on social media to push the Khalistan Movement, said sources.
