Masks are an important shield against coronavirus. But to force somebody to wear a mask while alone inside a personal vehicle is going beyond what is required for self-preservation or protecting others. The problem with such unreasonable rules is that they encourage people to violate even reasonable ones.

There was an altercation when she reportedly asked them to pay penalty for not wearing masks and asked for his licence. Sources said Jadeja informed police that the cop had behaved rudely with them. Gosai later got herself admitted to a private hospital on University Road complaining of stress, sources said.
When contacted, deputy commissioner of police Manoharsinh Jadeja said, “Jadeja and the constable both have accused each other of rude behaviour. There is no formal complaint from either side. As per my information, Jadeja was wearing a mask and we are investigating whether his wife was wearing or not.”
